March

Once again it seems a whle since we have posted and a lot has gone on. We have at last booked our flights for the holiday (honeymoon now I suppose). We are of to explore Indonesia for a while, no idea yet what we shall be doing but hope to go to see the Orang Utans in the north, The Komodo Dragons in the South and visit Bali. In amongst all that some diving, some relaxing, looking at the historical sites and the natural world. Indonesia is huge and has the most active volcanoes of anywhere. So you can see we shall be busy. The wedding is also getting there. We have been again to Le Manoir to discuss things and now just have to choose the menu and wines.

Sadly Jan's father, Eric, passed away at the end of January. A very sad time for all her family. I first met Eric when I applied for a Saturdays boys job at his butcher's shop in Chesham back in 1971. That was also when I first met Jan.

Andrew is home at the moment from his University placement for Easter so we shall be going out over the weekend for a meal to celebrate my birthday. He has booked a week diving in the Red Sea in the summer and is looking forward to that. We have also been discussing what suits to wear for the wedding in July. Jan has yet to sort out her dress but has certain ideas. Got to sort out one for Karen yet.

Karen has still to sort out various things. She was accepted at all five of her university choices and now has to just agree on two of them. She was hoping to go to somewhere hot and sunny with sea for a holiday with a lot of her friends, that seems to have fallen away as one by one they dropped out. She is still hoping to go with a couple when she books it.
