Peace at last!!!!!!!
We are now settled in Bali for a few days after the excitment of the wedding and the flights here (if you can call the long flights exciting)
We are staying at Stana Puri Gopa hotel in Sanur, the up market side of Bali and reasonably far away from Kuta, the younger persons brash clubbing scene. The hotel is based on Balinese temple architecture with amazing decorations and statues just 3 mins from a glorious beach.
Not done too much yet but managed some snokelling in shallow rock pools as the tide was flooding out at a very fast rate, Still, saw huge various coloured starfish, a cute sea horse, octopus and eels. The water is really warm. A trip and walk today took us to the sacred temples near Ubud and the monkey forest. A lot of walking through the temple area then out to the villages and rice paddies.
As soon as we can find a faster internet connection we will upload some photographs.
