It was a perfect day, where everything we had wished for came true. The sun shone down on Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, which is a wonderful place at any time, but was even more special yesterday. It was great fun taking photographs in the gardens with both our families looking so special. The moment for the ceremony suddenly arrived. We went over to the Milton Suite, both feeling a little anxious but we said what we had planned to say and survived the formalities. Outside on the croquet lawn it was great to talk to all our guests, all dressed in their finest outfits, sipping champagne in the hot sun. Who could ask for more!
We managed about an hour of chill out talking to everyone before dinner. The food was to die for, it was amazing. For those of a carnivorous taste the 6 courses included such delights as Pate de Foie Gras, Seared Tuna, Sea Bass and Fillet Steak. The Vegetarians were definitely not to be outdone with salad of artichoke, a gorgeous souffle, a fabulous stuffed romano pepper and all finished with a Raymond Blanc speciality of a trio of absolutely wonderful chocolate desserts. It was all accompanied by some excellent wines and champagne.
The cake was not the traditional one but a Piece Montee created especially for us by the chefs here at Le Manoir. Just fantastic.
While writing this we are having coffee in our own little private garden.

The food and wine was a great choice Clive's only complaint is over the bottle of tom sauce !! Hope you are having a great time in Bali and able to relax prior to the site seeing trips. Mum is great and also thoroughly enjoyed your day and her time with Auntie Millie.
