Riobambo Ecuador

First of all I would like to reply to the comments made by our two fans. Please can you stop eating dictionaries for breakfast !!! We dont understand the words as they do not translate into Spanish

Ok now a bit about what the intrepid travellers have been up to these past few days.
As we put in the last piece we have started climbing and travelling. We have been up Cotapaxi almost to the snow line and boy was it cold and windy. We would have gone further but the cloud came down and with the altitude we were all out of breath so decided to come down with the guide. It was good and occasionally the cloud cleared so we could see the top and the crater.
We have now moved again to Riobamba from Latacunga by bus and that is fun. When the bus is full they just keep stopping to let more on so it is standing room only but the cost is cheap, about one pound per person for a 2 hour journey of say 80 odd miles. Food and drink is also very cheap here, meals costing about 5-6 punds each although lunch today was 4 dollars (2 pounds) for a 3 course meal.
While here for next 3 days we hope to go to Banos and see an active volcano (Volcan Tungurahua) as well as do some cycling, then hope to ride the train roof on the "Nariz de Diablo" train through the mountains. (look it up on the internet also on youtube)

Well thats it for now except to say guinea pigs are cute as well as tasty (OK Jan says I cannot try one)
Next update as and when we can and also more pics we hope
