LAST FEW WEEKS IN UK

Now just a couple of days left in UK before we head of to Africa and our time in Zambia. It seems a while since I have updated so now seems a good time.

Cycling in The Forest

Back in March I managed to celebrate a "milestone" Birthday when Jan, Andrew, Karen and Andrew's partner Louise took the old man down to Montague Arms at Beaulieu in the New Forest for a couple of days including a fantastic dinner at the Michelin Starred The Terrace Restaurant. With great weather enabling us to hire bikes and tandems for a cycle in the Forest and a superb dinner, it was a fantastic weekend.

It has also been time to clear out the house ready to be rented out. This seemed to take ages but it was with great sadness that on Saturday 30th May we left our home in London and came moved for a few days to Wiltshire and Andrew's house. Before that happened we did manage a few hours away from clearing with trips up The Shard and Heron Towers for some high level viewing of London Town.

Our home looking good in the early summer
We have everything sorted (well we hope so) bags are packed and even the car in Africa purchased ready to be collected in July when we travel down to Johannesburg for a few days then drive it back up through Botswana and Namibia to Ndola and the Copperbelt.

A Very empty home

No Books or Ornaments left

Please keep checking in as we hope to update as frequently as we can telling all about what we are up to and photos of the area.
